We met on Bumble, not the most traditional love story, but one that feels very common for our generation. Apparently, I made the first move, thanks to Bumble’s rules. What started as a simple conversation about travel quickly became something more. From the start, talking to each other felt effortless, and time always seemed to fly when we were together. While we often heard how dull and frustrating online dating could be, it never felt that way for us. Meeting Jacob in my late twenties was worth the wait. Our first date at Dave & Buster’s was full of laughs, he won most of the games, but I proudly won in axe throwing. Since then, life together has been one fun adventure after another. Finding your best friend and your person in one is one of life’s greatest gifts. Whether supporting each other through challenges or laughing over the silly moments, it has always felt like we were meant to find each other. We always knew this is where we would end up, becoming each other’s forever person. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of our loved ones and can’t wait to share the joy, laughter, love, and unforgettable memories together.
