The wedding will take place at the Hotel du Village,in New Hope, Pa, across the Delaware River from Lambertville, NJ. These two small, interesting towns have lots of bars, restaurants and things to do. We recommend that you stay in one of the towns, so that you are able to walk everywhere - the Hotel du Village is about a 30 minutes' walk from the centre of New Hope, along the canal. For those flying in, Newark or Philadelphia are the best options. We have given some ideas below, with rough costs, per night for a couple. The Hotel du Village will have rooms available for the Wednesday and Thursday, but they need at least 8 rooms to be reserved, in order to use the hotel. There is also the ‘Owners House’ which has 7 ensuite bedrooms and which needs to be booked as a singled reservation. A word of caution; this is a popular spot and places will get booked up.

Very cute historic Inn, a Wedgwood-blue colored Victorian "Painted Lady" listed on Bucks County Registry of Historic Places. 10 minutes walk into town and 40 minutes to Hotel du Village. $350.
