Things To Do

Facing each other across the Delaware River. New Hope is art focused, while Lambertville is more traditional, with lots of antique shops and beautiful Victorian architecture. Both are full of restaurants and bars, with New Hope the livelier. Our favorites include the Swan, the Boathouse and Bell's Tavern in Lambertville, and Havanas (live music and outside bar), Martines (river view), and the Whiskey bar in the Logan Inn, along with many small, cool eateries such as Amelias and Zoubis in New Hope. For late night action, try Havanas, John and Peters, Fran's Pub and the Green House, all in New Hope. The area around here is beautiful, with lots to see and do. Drive up the river to Stockton and Frenchtown, stopping at the Black Bass in Lumberville. Depending on the weather, you can still go tubing or kayaking on the Delaware. For history buffs, check out Washington Crossing State Park. There is also plenty of hiking, including 77 miles up and down the D & R Canal.
