Cisco Brewers
One of our favorite spots is Cisco Brewery, about 3 miles from downtown. It's Nantucket's local brewery, selling beer/wine/cocktails and food from local food trucks. It's a great spot with plenty of outdoor seating, dogs, and live music. A free shuttle leaves from downtown every 20-30 minutes. Catch the shuttle from the Nantucket Visitor Center at 25 Federal St.
Millie's & Madaket Beach
If you’re looking for casual Baja fare like fish tacos, quesadillas or a great lobster roll, Millie’s is the place. The restaurant is located in Madaket on the west side of the island, about 6 miles from downtown. Millie’s is one of our favorite spots to sip on a margarita or Dave’s favorite drink - the Blue Lemonade. Take a quick walk down the road to Madaket Beach to view an incredible sunset. You can bike, hop on a bus or take an Uber/taxi.
Downtown - Shopping
Enjoy a walk through town on charming cobblestone streets. Main Street is where you'll find some of Nantucket's best local shops. Be sure to check out Murray's Toggery. Murray's is where Nantucket Reds originated.

SOMETHING NATURAL Known for their sandwiches on homemade Portuguese bread (a Nantucket favorite!) and homemade chocolate-chip cookies. LEMON PRESS An organic eatery, cafe, and craft cocktail bar on Nantucket’s cobblestoned Main Street. Great place to get a coffee and avocado toast, or shared plates and cocktails. Focusing on ingredients that are local and organic.
Dinner
LOLA 41 LoLa stands for longitude latitude, all aspects of the restaurant have been influenced from the countries and regions that the 41st parallel crosses. This popular restaurant only takes same-day reservations. STRAIGHT WHARF Offers two distinct settings for dinner: the formal dining room and the bar grill which transforms into a popular bar at night. GALLEY BEACH The best place to take in a Nantucket sunset. Galley Beach is a must for cocktails with your toes in the sand. Food is expensive but delicious. Reservations recommended for dinner. THE NAUTILUS Located in the heart of downtown, this spot is a truly special dining destination with shared plates, cocktails & wine. SANDBAR JETTIES BEACH BAR Located right on the beach, laidback and affordable. They often have live music that you can enjoy while sitting on the sand.
'Sconset Bluff Walk
The 'Sconset Bluff Walk is a beautiful walking trail along a bluff overlooking the water in 'Sconset. It is a small dirt path that travels through the flower-filled backyards of many 'Sconset homes. You can stroll along the bluff to the Sankaty Lighthouse.
The Juice Bar
Iconic ice cream shop on Nantucket, over 40 flavors and warm freshly baked waffle cones. Get in line early if you're going after dinner!
Beaches
If the weather is nice, there is a wide variety of gorgeous beaches on the island. Miacomet Beach and Madaket Beach are two of our favorites. See link below for a full list of all the beaches.
