Things To Do at The Homestead
Golf
Practice your swing on a driving range before heading to one of the two historic golf courses at The Omni Homestead Resort. Their championship courses have challenged Presidents William Howard Taft, Dwight D. Eisenhower and George H. W. Bush, as well as two generations of Rockefellers. Both courses have a clubhouse and offer short-game practice facilities and driving ranges. Callaway rental clubs are available.
Indoor and Outdoor Swimming
Visit the two-acre waterpark, relax in the indoor pool built in 1904, or swim year round in the outdoor, naturally warm, spring-fed spa pool.
Zip Lining
The two and a half hour zip lining expedition is perfect for thrill-seekers. Spanning over than 4,000 feet, fly through the tree tops or nine zip lines with views of five mountains!
Spa
Rejuvenate at the expansive, state-of-the-art spa facility and choose from an abundance of treatments, including the Aqua Thermal Suite.
Shooting Club
With a history dating back to 1933, the historic gun club hosted the first-ever U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship in 1992. Take an adventure through almost a mile of wooded courses that simulate many types of game birds and rabbits. The resort will provide guns, ammo, targets and vests as well as eye and ear protection for your safety and comfort.
Horseback Riding
The resort's stables house approximately 30 horses. Ride a trail through the wooded forests and soak in the crisp mountain air!

Southern Social Hour
A tradition dating back generations, enjoy Southern Social Hour daily from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in The Great Hall. Enjoy a selection of treats created by the resort's pastry chef, along with a selection of hot and iced teas.
