At this time, Globe Dye Works is requesting proof of vaccination for guests. As of March 2022, local guidelines are shifting. We will update vaccination, testing, and masking updates as we learn more. Thank you for your patience!
RSVP is active and online only! Thank you!
We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Please leave the kids at home.
We have booked a block of rooms at the Wyndham Philadelphia historic District in Olde City (see the Travel section). It is an approximately 10 minute drive to the wedding venue. Guests are welcome to stay at any other of the other hotels or AirBnB’s in the area. We will update transportation information as we move closer to the date!
We will be working out a shuttle option with the Hotel block TBD.
Guests are permitted to park in the Globe Dye Works tenant parking lot at the corner of Worth St and Kinsey St. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. All guests utilizing such parking shall park "at their own risk" with Globe Dye Works having no liability for vehicular losses incurred.
If you are staying overnight in Olde City, then you will have tons of options for dining, drinking, and entertainment within walking distance! Uber/Lyft are easy to order. If you are feeling more adventurous, try out a Trolley, or subway (Broad Street or Market/Frankford line) via SEPTA (septa.org).
Now that is a controversial question, my friend. If you’re feeling touristy, you can go to South Philly and take your pick between Pat’s and Geno’s (Pat’s is better). Ishkabibble’s is Conor’s favorite while Dallessandro’s has Liz’s vote. Excellent cheesesteak’s can also be found at Joe’s, Woodrow’s, and FrizWit.
A Jawn is a term lovingly used by local Philadelphians to replace any noun. See examples below. “Hey, while you’re in the kitchen could you get me a sparkling Jawn?” “What’s the name of that Jawn that has really good cheesesteaks?”
