Lauren is Liz's best friend since they both joined their school's choir in junior year of high school! They have been right by each other's sides through the biggest hardships of their lives, traveled all over together, protected each other, and always managed to stay close no matter the distance. It is a great privilege to have her as the maid-of-honor :) She is currently serving in the Coast Guard stationed in Victoria, TX!
Ben Kenyon
Best Man
Ben and Chuck first met on the basketball court at age 6. Teammates on the court through high school, Ben and Chuck won two national championships together in high school, one of which was highlighted by Ben sinking 6 straight 3 pointers at one point. After college, Ben played professional wheelchair basketball for several years overseas in Germany, before returning to Minnesota where he works in banking and finance.
Kaitlyn Gregory

Kaitlyn is Liz's first sister-in-law! She is the absolute definition of a caretaker, through and through—she has a genuine passion for improving the lives of others. She also has been training to run a half marathon and kicking butt at it! Kaitlyn is an RN who currently works as a NICU Navigator at the Children's Hospital of Atlanta. There is pretty much nothing crafty she cannot do- she quilts, sews, embroiders, and even welds lovely works of stained glass!
Ben Gregory

Ben is Liz's middle brother, whom Chuck first met at Thanksgiving 2017, where Chuck promptly became sick, setting off a tradition of Chuck falling ill at holiday gatherings. Ben lives in Decatur, GA, with his wife Kaitlyn. A born storyteller, he works in the TV and film industry on small, independent projects such as Marvel movies. When he is not working, he is usually playing with his dogs, leading a Dungeons & Dragons game, or hiking.
Elizabeth Mays

Dr. Mays (soon to be Dr. Gregory) is the fiancée of Liz's oldest brother, Will. We are SO excited to add her to the family next year in October of 2023! She also brought her adorable dachshund Buster into the family! She is a quirky, brilliant psychiatrist currently crushing it in her residency in Houston, TX.
Will Gregory

Will is Liz's oldest brother and was the first of Liz's brothers Chuck met. They quickly bonded over a shared love of fantasy books, crossword puzzles, games, and dogs. Will currently lives in Houston, TX with his fiancée Elizabeth, where he owns his own consulting company, Waystone Solutions. When not working, you will find Will working on home improvement projects, taking off-roading car lessons, or doing virtually anything outdoors.
Helena

Helena lived next door to Liz in their freshman year of college, and they have been friends ever since! She is a philosopher, an artist, a theorist, a Brazilian-American polyglot who makes more references to the Latin and Greek languages and Plato's Republic than anyone else you will ever meet! When she is not drawing, writing fanfiction, or playing instruments, Helena is a PhD student at Cornell studying (to state it simply) ancient literature/political theory.
Henry Aoki

Henry is Chuck's younger brother, who loves to read, cook, and participate in volunteer work. While far apart in age, Henry and Chuck have always enjoyed spending time together talking politics, Star Wars, and any number of other nerdy topics. Henry currently attends the University of Southern California, where he is working on his PhD in political science.
Callan Napier

Callan has been one of Liz's closest friends since sophomore year of college when they were put into the same small discussion group in a political science class. From philosophical debates to beer pong, Callan is a unique combination of hippie and scholar and sunshine, and she plays the euphonium like nobody's business! She currently works in the hospitality industry in Glacier National Park.
Jeff Butler

Jeff and Chuck were teammates on Team USA for seven years and were travel roommates for most of that time! He is an entrepreneur by nature, having founded his own company in the mid-2010s, and he loves science fiction, Dungeons & Dragons, and pretty much anything related to sports. Following the Tokyo Paralympics, Jeff moved to Stanford to pursue his MBA.
Marianna Bergues

Marianna and Liz have been friends pretty much ever since Marianna walked into an English class in late August of 2018 wearing an outrageous Halloween-themed sweater. She sews, embroiders, draws, makes jewelry and clothes, and is currently working on her own Etsy shop to sell her creations! She also works at a thrift store and plays the bass!
Chad Cohn

Chad and Chuck met when Chuck took his recruiting trip to Tucson, AZ to visit the University of Arizona. Chad immediately helped look out for him, as Chuck was an 18-year old without a clue in the world on how to live by himself. They played together in Arizona for 3 years, were teammates on Team USA for 12 years, and went to 3 Paralympics together. Chad and Chuck have always bonded over a mutual love of Minnesota sports, and have countless memories together both on and off the court. Chad and his wife Denise live in Tucson, where Chad enjoys gardening and working out.
Jenny Campbell

Jenny's last name was Lofaro until earlier this year! (Congratulations again, J!) Liz and Jenny met through their mutual love of exercise. Jenny is a tiny stick of dynamite who still manages to be deeply Zen. Jenny is a personal trainer, volunteer firefighter, professional jiu-jitsu fighter, and yoga and spin instructor.
Eric Newby
Groomsman
Eric, or Newby as he is more commonly called, has been a teammate of Chuck's since 2013 on Team USA. Newby lives in Illinois with his wife Megan and their daughter, Rory. He is a graphic designer by training, and more recently has spent time working in the adaptive vehicle space. When he is not working or playing with Rory, he can almost certainly be found watching sports.
Logan Hedrick

Logan is Lauren's little sister and practically Liz's, too. Liz actually made friends with Logan first because they were both on their high school volleyball team. Logan is funny and independent and free-thinking and can always put a smile on your face. She is currently a member of the Coast Guard stationed in California doing law enforcement and search and rescue.
Josh Scanlon

Josh and Chuck met during high school on their wheelchair basketball team, where they played for many years with Ben K. Josh loves to hunt, fish, and watch sports, all with his adorable yellow lab, Cash. Josh and his wife Dani live in small town Minnesota where he works as a welder.
