FAQs and Accessibility

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions! Also, if you are a guest on wheels, scroll down for some information on accessibility.
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we would prefer our wedding to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We would, if possible, appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Are COVID-19 vaccinations required to attend?

Answer

Yes. For the safety of all of our guests, we ask that only those who have received a full course of COVID-19 vaccinations attend these events. We are not checking cards, but all guests being full-vaccinated is very important to us. We are having a wedding video made, so unvaccinated loved ones will still be able to see the ceremony :)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by mailing back the RSVP card included with the wedding invitation. We ask that guests please RSVP by November 17th.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Realllll cold. If you have concerns about this, we can recommend some excellent winter coats :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Everyone gets a plus-one. Just please let us know on the RSVP card.

Question

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes! It's Christmas-themed :)

Question

Accessing Venues

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner: Kieran's is fully accessible. It is .3 miles (7 min push) away from both hotels. Ceremony: The Groveland Ave entrance is accessible, and, once you get inside, there is a lift that you can use to bypass the steps down into the sanctuary. Reception: Windows on Minnesota is fully accessible. Brunch: When you enter the Marquette Hotel, there is a ramp behind the welcome desk. You will end up by the elevators, and if you go past the elevators and turn left, you will see the little bar area where brunch will be served. We will also put up signage.

Question

Food Service Access

Answer

At the rehearsal dinner and reception, there will be waiters walking around with appetizers prior to the meal and there will be a plated dinner served at your seat. For things like the bar/coffee bar at these events, the waiters will be prepared to carry your drink back to your seat for you if need assistance.

Question

Accessible Transportation

Answer

There is a bus with a wheelchair lift to transport guests from event to event. For more information, visit the "Travel" page.
