Liz had a class with Chaise freshman year at Westminster College and thought he was a babe. One day, she spotted him across the cafeteria and decided to break the ice. Liz: "I love photography and do a lot of photo shoots. Would you be interested in doing a photo shoot sometime?" Chaise: "Sure." Liz thinking to herself: YESSSS

Earlier in August, Liz asked Chaise if he would ever consider marrying her. He said, "Of course!" Then, on their three year anniversary, they talked about it again. Chaise: "So... how do you want me to propose to you?" Liz: "However you want. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. You could ask me right now if you want." Chaise: "I could ask you right now?" Liz: "Yeah, you could ask right now." Chaise: "Liz, will you marry me?" Liz: "Of course!" And that's how it all went down.
