Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi formal/casual. Please don’t feel the need to go out and buy a brand new fancy outfit for our wedding. Whatever you have is fine! Please note that the venue is mostly grass and unpaved dirt so pick your shoes accordingly.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

No! All we ask is that you bring a card with a personal note for the bride and groom to read.

Will the venue be hard to find?

Answer

No. You will see a big sign on the gate that says lotus view ranch.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking and parking attendants to help

Will there be shuttles to the venue?

Answer

No. Every guest is responsible for getting themselves to and from the venue. The road to the venue is winding mountain roads. If you’re drinking we ask you to have a designated driver or utilize uber!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to ensure you have time to park and get to the ceremony space!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any extra guests. Everyone you can bring will be listed on your invitation.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will have a photographer and videographer on site taking all the pictures and videos we need. We’re asking all guests to stay off their phones during the duration of the ceremony

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes but it will be serving beer, wine, and champagne only! We want everyone to have a fun time and make it home safely so if you plan to drink please have a designated driver or utilize uber!

Where should I sit?

Answer

During the ceremony the first two rows will be reserved for family. Other than that sit wherever you like! No need to pick sides. During the reception there will be a seating chart telling each guest which table number they will be sitting at

What time does the reception end?

Answer

10pm is when the DJ will be leaving and the reception will be coming to an end!

What will the meal options be?

Answer

There will be a taco bar for dinner with multiple meat options as well as chips, salsa, and various taco fillings to choose from.

Will the hat bar be free?

Answer

For immediate family and the wedding party custom hats have been pre paid. Guests unfortunately will have to pay for their own custom hat. All hats are 100% wool and guests can burn or brand their own custom designs/words on them. They will run about $80. There will also be trucker hats with different patch/decorating options for guests to customize. Those will run about $30. Making a hat is totally optional please don’t feel pressured to buy one. Everything else at the reception including games, food, and bar are all free for everyone!
