FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elizabeth Grishaw and Ashish Kadam
Question

What can I expect within the American wedding ceremony?

Answer

An American wedding ceremony is typically about 30-40 minutes. Our wedding will consist of Elizabeth's Uncle (Dave Grishaw-Jones) leading the ceremony. Here's the main information. The wedding party will enter and stand at the front. After they are all in, Elizabeth will be walking down the aisle with her father. It is traditional to stand for the bride when she walks down. During the ceremony, you'll hear readings, vows, and surprise traditions. The ceremony will be over when they announce the Kadams and Ashish and Elizabeth kiss. At this point, music will start and people will start cheering. The wedding party will exit and everyone will transition to the Cocktail Hour activities. Traditionally, in American weddings, the bride is the only one to wear a white dress.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not take pictures during the ceremony. Our photographer will be taking professional photos and we appreciate you living in the moment with us.

Question

Answer
