We met through the dating app - Hinge! Ashish liked Elizabeth's photo and she got the conversation started by talking about a white water rafting trip he posted on his profile. We started talking about nature areas we loved and food we liked to cook. We had our first date on August 14, 2021 at an Italian restaurant in Burlingame, California and the rest is history! On labor day weekend 2024, we hiked Soberanes Point in Big Sur. There's two major viewpoints, and Ashish was clear which one we were doing first. He brought a tripod (a little suspicious for the windy day) and came up with a story of wanting to get good photos of the view. We fought the winds and stabilized the tripod with rocks to take stunning pictures. At the second view point, it was clear we were going to do the same thing. He told Elizabeth that he had an idea for a video transition with her looking away and that he would tell her when to turn around. Elizabeth was genuinely shocked when she turned around and saw Ashish on one knee proposing! Of course, she said yes! On November 18, 2024, Ashish and Elizabeth were married at the Santa Clara Courthouse. It was an intimate ceremony that solidified their connection. We're excited to share our American Wedding with you all on our 11th month anniversary on October 18th! It is our pleasure to have you all be a part of our special day.
