King Arthur Baking Company
This should be a must stop on everyone's list! If you use King Arthur Flour, you can't miss it. The cafe is great for breakfast or lunch and closes at 3:00 PM. The store does stay open until 5:00 PM.
Gile Mountain Fire Tower
One of the hikes we have done the most in the Upper Valley! Perfect short out and back hike, with a fire tower at the top for great views of the entire Upper Valley. We highly suggest carpooling as the parking lot is small and will be busy during peak leaf season.
AVA Gallery & Art Center
A great local art center that features so many wonderful artists. Sometimes Elizabeth has work showing, so keep an eye out!
Norwich Farmers Market
This is Elizabeth's favorite farmer's market in the area. It is only open on Saturdays until 1:00 PM but would be a wonderful activity for the morning of the wedding. Great mix of local farms, prepared food, and homemade products. We have a plot in the community garden at the same location!
Dartmouth College
Both of us work here, so it had to be on the list (although Elizabeth's office is actually in Lebanon). Take a walk around the campus and downtown Hanover while you are there!
Northern Rail Trail
A great trail for all seasons from Lebanon, NH to Concord, NH. The two miles through Lebanon are paved and great for biking, running, or walking!
Umpleby's Bakery Cafe
Another wonderful breakfast and lunch stop! Elizabeth's mom, Nancy, wants to come here every time she visits.
Molly's Restaurant & Bar
A classic if you visit the Upper Valley! Has been located in the same spot since 1983. Molly's is home to the $3 Margarita, and has everything on the menu you could want!
Putnam's Vineyard
Wine bar, coffee shop, plant store all in one. Need we say more?
Pine Park
A little hidden, but the best park in Hanover!
