Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For Friday's ceremony, we recommend arriving between 8:30–8:45 AM to give yourself time to grab a coffee or chai and find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. For Saturday's ceremony, we recommend arriving between 4:00–4:15 PM to get settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to Friday & Saturday's ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided for Friday's event. However, for Saturday, a shuttle will be available from the JW Marriott in Uptown with a pickup time of 4:00 PM. The shuttle will also provide return drop-off to the JW Marriott, with a scheduled departure from the venue after 10:00 PM.

Is there parking available, or should I arrange transportation?

Answer

Parking will be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For Thursday, there is street parking and a small parking lot for the Goodyear House. Parking can be difficult sometimes. Recommend carpooling and/or ubering if possible. For Friday, please use the parking lot located at 130 W Brooklyn Village Ave Charlotte, NC 28202. For Saturday, please use the parking lot located at 1900 The Plaza Charlotte, NC 28205. We will have a shuttle from the JW Marriott on Saturday. Pickup at 4:00PM. If you do not have a care, or are not planning to use the shuttle, we suggest Uber or Lyft.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party (for out of town guests): Casual attire (Polo's, short sleeve button downs, sundresses, jeans + blouse). Friday: Kurta's, Lehengas, Colorful dress, dress shirt and pants. Saturday: Semi-Formal dress code, including full-length or midi dresses and suits (tie-optional)

Is it an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Welcome Party will be an outdoor event. Friday's ceremony will be an indoor event. Saturday's ceremony will be both indoor and outdoor.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for the number of guests included in your reservation, as we have planned our celebration for specifically invited guests only.

Can I still RSVP if I missed the deadline?

Answer

Due to our limited venue capacity, we regret that we are no longer able to accept RSVPs past the deadline. We are so grateful for your love and support and hope to celebrate with you soon!

Should I bring allergy meds?

Do you recommend any places to check out while we are in town?

Answer

Plaza Midwood, Plaza Midwood, and Plaza Midwood. (If you can't tell, we love our neighborhood....Plaza Midwood). In all seriousness, we love Charlotte and the different personalities of each neighborhood! Please refer to the "Things To Do" tab for some of our fav places.
