Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Located just up the road from the hotel. It is open from 9 am to 5 pm, tickets run $29 a person or $25 if you buy them ahead of time online (recommend doing this as it can get busy in August).
Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm
Just up the street from the hotel you can visit and feed these friendly guys, you can even take them on a walk!
Boothbay Harbor
Located only 10 minutes from the hotel, Boothbay Harbor's downtown is filled with shops and restaurants. Many of the shops are located on Townsend Avenue and Oak street but check out the side streets as well! For even more fun you can check out the Foot Bridge, the longest wooden foot bridge in the country. Enjoy exploring a quintessential New England town!

Balmy Days Cruises has several great options to choose from. Consider a private charter or even a day trip to Monhegan island!
Acadia National Park
Located on Mount Desert Island in Bar Harbor, ME, this park is a must-see. The Davis family has been lucky to explore beautiful Cadillac Mountain. The trails vary from beginner to advanced and the views are incredible. Located just under three hours from the hotel, it will require a car rental and perhaps an extra day in Maine. Highly recommend this one!
