San Antonio International Airport

The airport in San Antonio is super accessible - 10-15 minutes from downtown (and our house), with plenty of Ubers available to and from. JetBlue is easiest if you're coming from Boston; Southwest is usually a good bet from elsewhere but options will vary by location.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Depending on traffic, 1-2 hours from San Antonio. You may find more direct flights into Austin (v. SA), but it's definitely a bit more of a drive! Ideal if you plan to rent a car and/or are staying for the week.

We curated some AirBnb options in our favorite neighborhoods that are within 10-15 minutes (drive, or in some cases walk) from our house and/or the venue [click the "View" button below to access the link]. If you're searching on your own, we recommend the following areas: - Dignowity Hill: Our neighborhood, a lot of older, renovated houses (like ours!). Search close to our address (624 Dawson) for the best part of the neighborhood. ~7 minute drive from the Castle. - King William: One of the swankiest neighborhoods in San Antonio, with beautiful old houses and access to the Riverwalk (not the touristy part) as well as bars, restaurants and cafes. About 11 minutes drive to the Castle. - The Pearl: Location of the weekend farmer's market and Hotel Emma, along with other restored buildings. Lots of shops & cafes in the area, and about 20 minutes walk to the Castle. - Lavaca: Adjacent to King William and similar, though you'll see more new builds. ~12 minute drive to the Castle. - Government Hill: Location of Fort Sam and the Castle! Great option as long as you're ok with the bugles going off every so often. Depending on location, should be a 5-15 minute walk to the Castle.

Beautiful (and very pricey) hotel at the Pearl, about a 5 minute drive from our venue. Eliza stayed here when she interviewed for H-E-B and can confirm it's FABULOUS. Recommend a visit even if you don't spend the night - breakfast at Supper (hotel restaurant) is lovely, and they have a mini grocery store with amazing, humongous cookies.

Located right next to the Alamo and best known as a gathering place for the Rough Riders. We can't speak to the rooms, but the bar is worth a visit even if you don't stay the night.
