Gorgeous place for a walk, with the ocean on one side and the Gilded Age mansions on the other.

The Cliff Walk

While the wedding will be at Rosecliff Mansion, there are plenty of other gorgeous Gilded Age mansions to explore while you are in town. The Breakers Mansion is particularly famous.

Newport Mansions Preservation Society

We have a weak spot for old school diners and we love this one. The staff here is wonderful.

Franklin Spa

Great spot for a lobster. Not a seafood shack but not white table cloth either.

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar

The most perfectly cooked fried chicken we have ever had. The restaurant has a beautiful traditional elegance and wonderful service.

The Dining Room at The Vanderbilt

Oldest restaurant in America and a historical landmark.

White Horse Tavern

Great spot for brunch - though there is often a line out the door!

Corner Café

Great spot with lots of cute shops and restaurants. Note that this does get very busy, especially during the weekends / peak season.
