Travel Note
Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) has the most flights and is a (mostly pretty) 2.5 hour drive from Taos. Rental cars are available from all the major companies. Santa Fe airport (SAF) is much smaller but also closer (1.5 hours) and worth a look. SAF has Hertz and Avis on-site, and Budget and Enterprise a shuttle ride away. Taos Airport (TSX) is incredibly convenient to town (about 10-15 minutes) but is tiny and has limited, seasonal flights to a small handful of destinations. Taos airport doesn't have rental cars. Rental cars can be booked at Enterprise (though call them to be sure they actually have cars) but that's on the other side of town, and even getting from TSX to Enterprise isn't that straightforward. There is also little to no Uber/rideshare service in Taos, and basically no public transportation, so this may be a best option for people who have someone else picking them up.
Hotel
The Sagebrush is Old New Mexico, between the center of town and our venue. Good bar and live music every night.
Hotel
A Hilton hotel with casita-style rooms, indoor pool, restaurant, and bar on site. On the south side of Taos, centrally located between DALEE (Friday eve venue) and the Stakeout (wedding venue). We have a room block reserved here, bookable until August 19. To book, you can call the hotel directly and reference “Alvarez Sawyer Wedding Block” or book online using the “View” link below.
Hotel
Recently renovated head to toe, Hotel Willa has kind of a breezy hip California vibe. Walkable to town (you should still get a car) and a good (though pricey) restaurant/bar on site.
Travel Note
Airbnbs in Taos are abundant and a really good option, especially for families or larger groups. Don't be wedded to stuff that's right near the plaza - you'll pay more for being able to walk to more, but you'll miss out on the scenery you can get a little further out of town. If you're considering one and want our take, text us a link.

A restored 200-year-old hacienda turned guesthouse situated on 7.5 acres 2 miles from Taos Plaza. Killer included full breakfast, easy access to some of our favorite hiking trails. A quiet, private spot for those looking for a traditional B&B experience.
Hotel
Another 19th-century hacienda turned bed and breakfast, Adobe & Pines is less than ten minutes from the Stakeout and just down the hill from historic Ranchos Plaza.
