Our favorite Coffee/Date place. Has an awesome spread of coffee and dessert and is right on the lake. They also have their Christmas light show every year which might be up around the time you might be visiting us.
Pennybacker Bridge
We totally recommend a drive along RM 2222, it is one of the most beautiful drives in Austin. If you like to hike up a short mountain to get a good view of the bridge, drive to Penny Backer Bridge Overlook. You need to park on the street and hike up around 10-15 min hike to see the bridge.
Rainey Street
It's a perfect place for a relaxed night out with its renovated houses turned into bungalow bars. We highly recommend Bangers, Lucille, Two Step and the taco truck at Bungalow. There are also tonnes of food trucks to try.
West 6th Street
While Dirty 6th isn't high up our list to party, we love west 6th - Kung Fu Saloon, Dogwood etc
Zilker Metropolitan Park
Zilker Park offers great views of Downtown Austin. Lou Neff point is our favorite as that's where Shikhar popped the question
Texas Capitol
Texas Capitol is the largest US State Capitol ! There are a lot of free tours offered onsite every 30-45 mins. After a tour of the building, you can walk down the historic South congress street.
