Liam is the only man she's approved of from the beginning and he hopes to keep it that way. She's also the first and best of the party's redheads, a true icon ready to dance the night away (until her baby needs to go to bed).

Liam and Hunter met in middle school, and since then they've loved talking all things Star Wars and sports. Hunter is Liam's favorite redhead, even though the other two have never made Elise lose a game of Werewolf.

Our second honored woman knows Liam the best of Elise's friends and is his greatest competition, something she frequently reminds him of when she takes Elise on dates. If she doesn't bring her sister as a plus-one, she may have to fight Brooklynn over baby Poet!

Liam and Noah have been getting in and out of trouble together since kindergarten. Noah may be the better influence but Liam's clearly the better looking.

Brooklynn and Elise have lived together for the past year and, while she is sad that Elise is moving out, she's excited for the journey that Elise and Liam are about to share. She almost got a key to their apartment, but Liam said there were no redheads allowed.

Jake is Liam's oldest friend since they met in Sunday school. They've had many memories together, from youth camp car rides to staying up watching movies too scary for either of them. He's also on the Brandon Sanderson train with Elise, which Liam will join in about 10 years when he's read all the books.

Bethany is sunshine in a bottle and has been close with Elise since she randomly met Lea Gelman (Elise's mom) in the dorm kitchen and struck up a conversation during their first semester at seminary. Now, she's the group softie and everyone's favorite person.

Josiah became friends with Liam and Elise separately their first semester at seminary. Though he didn't ship them together originally, he and his wife were some of the first ones on board to support them both.

Kelsey was a late addition to the first-year crew at seminary, but she didn't miss too much of the fun. She and Elise roomed together for a summer and definitely had a lot of late-night fun before they both started going to bed at 9 pm in their old age. She's in charge of making sure Elise is awake til 10.

Growing up, every weekend Liam and H were at each other's houses. They've both come a long way since building forts in their living rooms, and have many adventures to come.

Maggie and Elise graduated together in May 2025 and could probably outlast anything together after a year of counseling practicum classes. She's also getting married soon, and they are both excited to be going through this stage of life at the same time.

Jude is Liam's younger (but not lesser) brother, and while they have a big age gap, that never stopped them from being good friends. Liam has loved teaching Jude all things movies, baseball, and the Bible.
