If you are staying as a guest at the Hampton Inn, the answer is yes. We will have transportation for up to 30 people leaving the hotel at approximately 3:15pm. Please let us know if you have any further questions!
The ceremony will start right at 4pm. We ask that you arrive anywhere from 15-30 minutes early to allow everyone enough time to get seated.
Garden party attire: wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats. Most of the day will take place outdoors making breathable and comfortable fabrics a wise choice. Have fun and get adventurous with colors!
The Promise Gardens is a garden venue. Be prepared to be outside, walk on grass, cobblestone, and gravel. The ceremony will be outside without much protection from the sun. The cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, will take place under cover.
While we can’t predict the exact forecast the Adirondacks, the weather is typically a low of mid-50’s at night with a high of 80 in the earlier hours of the day. Some would describe it as mildly cool, humid but cool.
Guests should plan to arrive at the venue between 3:30-3:45pm. The ceremony will take place from 4-4:30pm. Guests will be ushered to cocktail hour which will start immediately after the ceremony at 4:30pm and end at 5pm when the dinner and dancing will begin at 5pm. The last song will play at 9:30pm and guests will then be escorted to their cars and transportation.
Yes, however, parking spots will be limited to 20 cars. We ask that if you are not staying at the Hampton Inn, that you carpool with other guests to minimize the total number of cars driving to and from the venue.
We’ll be serving light passed hours d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert.
