GVA, LYS, CDG

Chambéry is accessible by a variety of airports. The two closest airports are GVA (Geneva, Switzerland) and LYS (Lyon Saint-Exupéry, France), both of which are around 1hr by both train or car. Another option is to fly into Paris (via CDG) for a visit prior to the wedding. From Paris, we would recommend taking the train down to Chambéry as the train is much faster than driving. Traveling by train is extremely efficient and economical in France if you would like to avoid renting a car for your stay. We recommend buying these train tickets 2-3 months in advance if possible.
