Travel Note
The church ceremony will take place in Conche di Codevigo, Padua, my hometown (about a 40-minute drive from Venice). The wedding venue, Villa Corner della Regina, is about a one-hour drive from the church, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. The nearest airports to the venue are Treviso (TSF) (about 20 minutes away) and Venice (VCE) (about 40 minutes away). From both Venice and Treviso, you can easily take trains to visit other cities around Italy. Accommodation is available at our venue for guests wishing to stay on-site the night of the wedding (June 13th). As a special rate has been arranged for our wedding, we kindly ask you to book exclusively via email at booking@villacorner.com, in order to benefit from the discounted rate. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your room. We’ll also share some recommendations for other places to stay nearby, such as Chioggia and Venice, for the nights before the wedding.
Flight
The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo International Airport (VCE), Venice, Italy. The airport is a 30 minute drive to St. Maria Goretti Church in Conche, Padua, Italy.
Rental Car
For our guests traveling from abroad, we recommend renting a car at Venice Airport for the wedding weekend. Both the church and villa are in scenic, remote areas about an hour from Venice. Having a car will give you the flexibility to get around easily and explore the region before or after the celebration. Once at the villa, you’ll also be able to relax and enjoy the countryside!
