Chioggia, often called “Little Venice,” and nearby Sottomarina are just a 15-minute drive south of Conche di Codevigo. Since they’re so close to the church, we recommend visiting them before the wedding. There are also several hotels in the area if you’d like to stay nearby.
About a 35-minute drive from our church in Conche di Codevigo, Padova (Padua) is a lively city full of history. It’s famous for the Aperol Spritz, which you can enjoy in its beautiful squares. Don’t miss the Saint Anthony of Padua’s Basilica, or the University of Padua, where Galileo Galilei taught and made important discoveries. The streets and porticos are perfect for a relaxed stroll.
Treviso, the city where Tiramisu was created, is about a 20-minute drive from Villa Corner della Regina. Here, you can enjoy a delicious tiramisu tasting. Treviso is also a great place to catch a train and explore other cities across Italy.
About a 1–1.5 hour drive from hometown, Lake Garda is a perfect spot for a trip. There are so many beautiful towns to explore, like Sirmione or Lazise if you’re looking for something closer. If you go a bit further north, Malcesine has amazing views and a cable car up the mountain, while on the other side, Limone sul Garda is super picturesque and known for its lemon groves. It’s the perfect place to relax by the water, go for a swim or just enjoy the scenery.
About a 2–2.5 hour drive from Conche di Codevigo (PD), the Dolomites are amazing if you want a taste of the mountains. The peaks are dramatic, the views are incredible and it’s perfect for a scenic drive, a short hike or just to enjoy the scenery. Some of the most beautiful spots are Val Gardena and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
