Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate. The address is 20 S. Eastern Ave. Joliet, IL 60433

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

What should I wear?

Answer

We are kindly requesting that our guests wear cocktail attire for our wedding. Please no jeans or sneakers :) We also ask that you reserve traditional wedding colors such as white, creams, and ivories for the bride. Also, weather permitting, much of the day will be spent outside. Please plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the mansion about 15-20 minutes before the ceremony. This will give you time to park and find your seat before the ceremony begins.

Where can I park on the wedding day?

Answer

There is a parking lot across the street from the venue on S. Eastern Avenue marked with a “Jacob Henry Mansion Parking” sign.

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 12, 2024. You are welcome to RSVP as early as you’d like. We appreciate as much notice as possible! You can do this by selecting the RSVP tab from the menu above.

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late RSVPs. We must provide a final guest count to our venue and vendors by a certain date. Please RSVP as soon as possible!

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will be missed. Please RSVP "Will NOT Attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find out that you will not be in attendance, please reach out to Elisabeth or Barry.
