If you’re thinking of going out to eat, here’s a list of trendy and delicious spots to check out. Curated by our friend and favorite socialite, Josemar @thedamfoodie
There are no private beaches in Portugal, so if you’re planning to spend a day by the sea, we recommend booking sunbeds or a table at a beach bar in advance. Here are a few spots we love. Most of them are easy to reach from Lisbon by Uber or Bolt — definitely worth the trip if you have the time!
– Wear comfortable shoes: the city center is hilly, full of cobblestones, and can get a bit slippery. – Getting around is easy: while there’s plenty of public transport, Ubers and Bolts are very affordable and reliable. – The beaches are close: if you have time, we definitely recommend a beach day. – Most people speak English: especially in restaurants, shops, and hotels, so don’t worry if you don’t speak Portuguese. – September weather should be warm and sunny: think mid-20s °C during the day (70s °F), but it can get cooler at night. Bring a light jacket or sweater just in case. – Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses: the sun still hits strong in early autumn.
