Question

What is the weather like in Rio during this time of year?

Answer

In April, the weather in Rio is warm and pleasant, perfect for an outdoor celebration. You can expect daytime temperatures around 27°C (81°F), with evenings cooling down to about 19°C (66°F). While April is typically a drier month, there may be occasional rain, so we recommend packing a light jacket or an umbrella just in case. Overall, the climate will be comfortable and beautiful, setting the perfect scene for our celebration!

Question

What is the best way to get to & from the airport?

Answer

Getting to and from Hotel Sol Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro from the airport (most likely Galeão International Airport - GIG) can be done a few ways. Here are the best options: 1. Ride-Share (Uber or 99) – Most Recommended Cost: ~$60–90 BRL ($12–18 USD) Time: ~30–45 minutes depending on traffic Why it’s great: Reliable, safe, fixed pricing, and convenient. Uber and 99 (a local app like Uber) work well in Rio. How: Call the ride after grabbing your bags. Follow signs to the designated ride-share pickup area outside the terminal. 2. Taxi (Prepaid) Cost: ~$120 BRL ($24 USD) with prepaid taxi; meter taxi may vary Time: ~30–45 minutes Tip: Use the prepaid taxi booths inside the airport to avoid scams. You pay upfront and get a receipt.
