Flight
American and Delta have some great prices especially checking on Tuesday and Wednesday like other airlines. Flying into Rome or Venice will get you to the castle. Prices to fly to Trieste are similar to Venice and Trieste is only about 20 minutes away. Rome plus a fast train to Venice and then about a 90 minute or less drive East to the castle. There are many combinations. This area is extremely close to Croatia. I recommend flying at the latest, on the 21 if coming from America.
Hotel
Everyone can stay on the premises until we run out of rooms. There is a list of rooms but the Castle has requested each person to send an email inquiry and let them know it is the Montgomery/Willner wedding, April 22-24. It has the room type and price. Breakfast is included. We will be planning some festivities from the evening of April 22, 2026 until the morning of April 24, 2026. I will list other hotels and BRBs for before or after the wedding. Please email the hotel at booking@castellodispessa.it and give them your names and how many guests will be attending. Let them know you are a guest of the Willner/Montgomery Wedding for the room discount and to please send the remaining rooms. We have a discounted block and third party bookings are not accepted. They will ask for a credit card hold, but will not charge anyone anything until two weeks before the wedding. Please reach out to us if you have any issues with the communication. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a response. I doubt you will find a less expensive price but in the event you do, please let them know and they will definitely honor it. There are already limited rooms at this time. We arranged the wedding venue to also be the resort, the hotel and the place where all wedding activities will occur before and after by design for the intimacy and connection of spending time with all of you!!! There is a vineyard, winery, spa and golf course on-site with wonderful restaurants. Most meals are included and the Castle is very reasonable by design.
Train
We have actually taken this train from Venice to the venue. It is about three hours total.
