FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to either Katelyn or Hayden!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Guests attending in person should RSVP by November 19, 2020, under the "RSVP" tab. Guests attending virtually do not need to RSVP.

Question

Have you made any changes to your wedding due to COVID?

Answer

We have ultimately decided to downsize our in-person guest list to 50 people due to our venue's COVID restriction guidelines. Our hearts are absolutely broken because we were so excited to celebrate with you. However, we want to do what is best for everyone's health and safety, while also complying with restrictions our venue has put into place. We will be having our ceremony live streamed on our website via Zoom. The link will be under the "Schedule" tab on 12/19/20 at 3:00.

Question

What precautions are you taking to make sure your event is safe?

Answer

We will be asking our guests to wear masks when they are not eating or drinking. We are also spacing out chairs during the ceremony so parties will not be close together. We will be providing everyone with their own hand sanitizer. We are also limiting our in-person guest list and providing a live stream of our ceremony for guests who are unable/uncomfortable attending. If you are uncomfortable attending our reception, there is absolutely no hard feelings. Do what you need to do to for your and your family's health.

Question

Where is the link to your virtual ceremony?

Answer

The Zoom link is under the "Schedule" tab. Simply click "Go to Virtual Event" and you are there!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. More details can be found under the "Schedule" tab but we want you to feel comfortable! So if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose (wearing a mask of course😉).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunetly, no. Due to the health and safety of our loved ones, we are limiting the number of guests who attend.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We sadly had to cancel our Welcome Event. We are trying to come up with a creative way to connect with you before the big day! Stay tuned for more information.

Question

Where exactly is the venue?

Answer

The venue itself is kind of tucked away in Collegetown. It is in between the two restaurants called "Madison Social" and "Coosh's." There will be a sign ("The Gathering"), you will walk inside and call the elevator. It's on the second floor! If you see our welcome sign next to the elevator on the ground floor, you're in the right place.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There are a few free parking lots and a garage around the venue and a pay-to-park garage. Metered parking is availabile along Madison Street and in the gravel parking lot next to Urban Outfitters (entrance on Woodward Ave.) These paid meters are enforced 24/7 and are strictly monitored. Meters can conveniently be paid by credit card or from your mobile device by downloading Park by App. Please don't chance it...pay to park or park in a free lot/garage. We promise you will get a ticket. All surrounding Florida State University parking lots on St. Augustine & Madison Streets (Lots 341 and 342) are open to guests as well as West Pensacola Street Parking Garage Mon-Fri after 4:30 p.m. and all day on weekends. If you type West Pensacola Street Parking Garage or Lot 341/342 FSU into Google Maps, it will take you there!

Question

Do you have a block at a hotel?

Answer

Yes! More information under the "Travel" tab.

Question

Will there be food during cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! We will have some yummy snacks for you to eat.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

No, you will have to make your own arrangements. There are tons of Ubers and Lyfts available and the hotel where we have a block is only a three minute walk, though!

Question

Where can I share the pictures I took at the wedding and where can I see others from the Big Day?

Answer

We would love to see the pictures you took! If you would like to share your pictures, please let one of us know so we can send you the link to upload them to our DropBox You can view the pictures here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VkBlJ77UBUlFzUHLMcogITt_U3rlV70t
