Eli and Hannah met in October 2009 when she shadowed the high school he attended and Eli decided to tease Hannah because that's what people did to him when he was a shadow. A year later, Hannah started at the same high school, saw Eli in the lunch line, and promptly told him off for his past antics. He surprised her with a sweet apology and later that week in after-school theatre, impressed her by correctly answering a question about lighting instruments. A friendship started through theatre and mutual friends and before long, they were spending all their time together. After breaking up during college, they found their way back to each other and now have been together cumulatively for 9 years. They have talked about getting married since they were teenagers and now it is time to finally make it happen!
