The Brenden Kelly When not pulling cats out of trees, Brenden loves a good beer. Greenport Brewery has a large outdoor and indoor brewery that offers everything from burgers to BBQ to soft pretzels. It has live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In addition to Brenden, you may see Annie's brother, Mike, who is a regular. They also have a tasting room in Greenport, refurbished from an old fire house.
The Elina Scavelli As Elina says, sometimes one winery isn't enough. Just because the wedding will be at one, it should not stop you from enjoying the fine vintages of the North Fork. The Napa of the East! Rose Hill is just up the road from Gerry's Garage. Other options include: Old Field Vineyards (complete with roaming farm animals), Macari, Lenz, Lieb Tasting Room, and Croteaux (Rose Only)
Shuckin' Time A fun spot for drinks, oysters, and other snacks on the marina. It has a shuck-your-own option, which Eli and Annie attempted on one of their early dates.
The Capozzi-Shanks A hip breakfast and lunch spot that thinks it's in Brooklyn. The food is delicious! Wear Tens Club shorts and ask Lucas to show you the post office afterwards.
The Hopkins Girls Make sure you go to the waterfront and not their indoor restaurant. Perfect for seafood on the water during the day and a raucous local bar at night. Annie deemed their clam chowder the best in the area back in 1999. Careful if you run into the Hopkins crew there late night, they have been known to run up a tab.
The Chris Scavelli Pizza Experience While everyone is playing for second after Da Angelos, 1943 is a delicious homemade pizza spot that was featured by the Barefoot Contessa herself, Ina Garten. Need we say more? You may see Chris there calibrating his dough recipes for use at home.
The Scavelli Uncles A small cafe with a strong local following (they put the Starbucks across the street out of business!). You will find Gerry and his brothers there on summer mornings arguing over cured meats. Bonus if you can make Aldo smile.
The Cal Poly Invitational Don't let travel make your game rusty. Island's End is an incredible public course with one of Golf Magazine's top public holes in the country. (Eli parred it in the inaugural Gerry Scavelli and Sons Open 2021). Clubs available for rent or borrowing from Eli.
Sunset Spectacular Grab some to go food at Love Lane Market in Mattituck or the North Fork Inn Food Truck and head to Town Beach for incredible sunsets or a quick dip! Another great public beach with parking and a playground is at the end of Fifth Street in Greenport.
The Cindy and Debi Beautiful lavender fields bloom next to a small shop with lavender products. The moms of the bride and groom call this a must see!
It's for the Kids (Shout out to the young'uns that fill our lives with joy, Libby, Alex, Giulianna, Catie, Journey, Elena, Beau, Greyson, Sloane, Lucy, Jorja, Nellie, Liam, Avery, Camryn, Colette, and Whitney) The kids need some love too. The carousel downtown is a fun time and for moms and dads looking to make it a bit more exciting, the outdoor bar at a restaurant PORT is only a few steps down the walkway.
The Daly Dinner Outstandingly fresh Sicilian food prepared with local ingredients. Order at least two of the baby eggplant appetizer. For a true experience, it needs to be eaten among family and friends!
The Andy Verderosa After Andy has completed his usual three workouts for the day, he can work up an appetite. Fortino's is a great place to treat yourself with some fine dining right on the pier like Eli and Andy did for Eli's birthday this year
The Ben and Lex Selinger Ben and Alexis know a good vibe. This spot on Shelter Island which sits between the Hamptons and Greenport provides picturesque sunsets, celeb sitings, and great cocktails. There is a ferry to the island from Greenport, but after enough drinks you may try to swim!
The Ari Simon Reminder to Ari, this is not Contra Costa Hospital in Martinez. These people aren't sick, just drunk. Kontokosta is a vineyard in Greenport. It features great wine and beautiful views of the water from its bluffs.
