Question

What should we wear?

Answer

We invite guests to lean on the dressier side of semi-formal. Suits, cultural attire, and cocktail dresses are welcome. Jeans and casual wear are kindly discouraged. Feel free to dress up! Both our ceremony and reception will be held on grass, so please plan footwear accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:30 pm. Please plan to arrive early around 2:00 pm. Guests unfamiliar with the area are advised to allow extra travel time as our ceremony is accessed via a winding road.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be limited parking available at both venues. We encourage you to carpool! For our ceremony, please follow the signs on Gibbs Ranch Road until you are greeted by our parking attendants. Parking closer to the driveway will be reserved for our bridal party and elderly guests. For our reception, please park along the Blue Drake Lane or on the properties at the base of our driveway as directed by parking attendants. Parking on our driveway will be reserved for our bridal party and elderly guests.

Question

Is Uber/Lift available in this area?

Answer

No! Uber will not reach you on the hill. Please plan ahead and designate sober drivers.

Question

How do I get to the Ceremony and the Reception?

Answer

We recommend guests who are unfamiliar with the area to drive up Highway 168 and Lodge Road through Prather and passing Sierra Highschool. While taking Tollhouse Road will be faster on most navigation platforms, this road is windier and guests may be more comfortable driving along the 168. Our reception is about a 25 minute drive from our ceremony. Again, we recommend guests to drive up Lodge road to the 168 through Prather for a more comfortable drive. There's no shame in driving slowly, but we do recommend frequently using turnouts to allow cars to pass.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we would love to include all children in our special day, with certain restrictions we have decided to limit the number of children invited. Any children invited to our ceremony and reception will be reflected in your invite and RSVP. For our morning after brunch, your children are more than welcome to join us (please remember to include them in your brunch RSVP).

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As with children, your invitation will clearly indicate whether you have an additional guest. Due to capacity, rental limitations, and budget constraints, we kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if specifically noted on your invitation and RSVP.
