So happy to have you with us!

There have been many people in the past three and a half years who have asked us how we managed to meet, date, and plan a wedding between California and Saskatchewan. It all started around 2010, when three boys needed one more to play a game of football and a girl was the only option as a fourth player. When picking teams, one of those boys dared risk having a girl. They promptly won the game, and were friends from then on. Dawson and I remained friends throughout our childhood and teen years, and in December of 2017 officially began dating. We have spent a lot of time in airports, in cars, and as much time as we could in the same zip code and time zone. 2020 was a challenging and special year, as Covid 19 shut down our travel schedules and we were apart for eight months. When we were finally able to see each other, Dawson brought a ring with him! I said yes (of course) and we started planning! It has been a long road, and we are utterly thankful for the support and love of our family and friends and for the many mercies God has shown throughout our time together!
