Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to wear whatever makes you feel your best and has you ready to dance! For folks who would like more guidance, the dress code is Garden Party Formal. What does Garden Party Formal mean? Think floor-length and cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets, and summer suits. Keywords: Spring florals, classy, sunset tones, minimalist, preppy. Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

There are so many people we love and want to include in our special day, but our venue and size constraints mean only those listed on your invitation may attend.

Question

What should I do in Los Angeles?

Answer

There are tons of fun things to do in LA and we will make a page on the website with more recommendations. For now, suffice it to say that there are many great shops and restaurants within walking distance of the Burton House. One idea: walk north down Beverly Drive and stop at any cool restaurants or shops you might see. If you walk for about 30 minutes you'll get to Rodeo Drive. Alex recommends stopping at the upscale grocery story, Erewhon, to ogle the eccentric (and expensive!) fare. Alternatively, walk east down Pico and stop for lunch at one of the many kosher restaurants including Jeff's Gourmet Sausage Factory (get the Impossible Western Burger). Within a quick drive are some fun tourist activities including the La Brea Tar Pits, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, LACMA, the Broad, and the Getty Museum.

Question

How do I get around LA?

Answer

Public transit in LA is better than you'd think, but it can still be pretty spotty. If walking, buses, or the LA Metro can't take you where you want to go then Uber and Lyft usually do the trick. You could rent a car, but it's probably more hassle than it is worth. We will provide transporation from the Pico Roberston area to and from the wedding. Good news! LA Metro says they will finish the K line in time for our wedding, allowing out-of-town guests to avoid the nightmare of driving to/from LAX.

Question
