When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The soonest, the better. Please, let us know your final decision by January 1rst, which is when we need to pay the venue. The cost of the venue is per person, so please be sure of your answer when you give us a response. If you tell us you are coming, but then you change your mind, we will ask you to reimburse us.

How do I RSVP?

Send a text to Lele at +13852833837, or even a DM! Make sure we read it and respond to it please, we are prone to forget even our own names.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear something blue at the wedding! It can be truly anything: a whole outfit, pants, shoes, socks, jewelry, etc. Bring something you feel sexy in, and don't forget to bring your swimsuit in case it's warm enough to jump in the pool. We will dance A LOT, so bring a pair of comfortable shoes to change into!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please, arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

(If you have a S/O, and we know them, we most definitely invited them as well!) Unfortunately, you cannot bring a +1. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only since our venue can have up to 90 people, all the costs are per person, and our wedding list is completely full. I am very sorry. However, let us know if you'd like to travel in a group, because there are many other people who are coming by themselves. Can I bring a gift?

We have a wedding registry under the tab: registry. We will also have an envelope where people can leave however much they want to help us pay for our honeymoon. We do ask you another thing: if you have a favorite liquor, bring it at the wedding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Our wedding will be completely nut-free, since Ben has a peanut allergy. There will be a few vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options as well.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking, yes! We suggest carpooling.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is a bus from Sirmione to Desenzano. However, the venue is in the countryside, so you either have to walk 20 minutes or take an Uber or a taxi.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are organizing a themed park day at Gardaland a couple days after the wedding ($40 per person). We are also organizing a welcome dinner close to Sirmione two days before the wedding.

Is it going to be a religious wedding?

Answer

No, it will not be a religious wedding. We actually are already legally married, and we are just doing an intimate ceremony to share this moment with you. Everything will be symbolic :)

How's the weather in Italy in June?

Answer

Some average temperature ranges for different parts of Italy in June are: Northern Italy: 55-80°F (13-27°C) Central Italy: 60-80°F (16-27°C) Southern Italy: 70-85°F (21-30°C)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be (hopefully) outdoors. If it rains, we will notify you a couple days in advance.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, Ben, I, and the wedding party will disappear for an hour or so to take pictures. Do not worry, cocktail and pool hour will be there to await you! There will be some chill music, wine, some snacks, board games, and a whole pool to try out! You can get to know the other guests or take a walk around the venue. The possibilities are limitless. At around 8 pm there will be a seated dinner. Find your name and sit accordingly at your table, then enjoy the fantastic food you will be served. There will be about 10 courses, so don't fill yourself up! Afterwards, we will cut the cake and do our first dance. After that, we will just party all night!

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Nope, no theme! But remember to wear something blue!

Will everyone speak English?

Answer

Nope! Ben's dad's side of the family is coming from Peru, and Lele's family is from Italy. However, many of our international friends, especially younger ones, know a bit of English!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! :( But, you can join us on zoom and follow along. You can find the link in the Schedule page. If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We will ask you to not use your phones during the ceremony, but we will do a social minute when everyone can take a picture. For the rest fo the wedding, you are welcome to take as many pictures and videos you want. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #lele&ben so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
