One of the first things Eleni did after moving to BK was buy a membership to BBG. Lovely indoor and outdoor gardens for a stroll!
Great skyline views— grab some ice cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory while you’re there!
Joe's most frequented spot in all of NYC. Don't miss the Bandai store on the second floor (complete with Japanese arcade games)
As much as we try and avoid Times Square, we LOVE Broadway. Of course there are the long-running classics like Hamilton and Wicked, but some of our favorite, newer shows currently running are: Chess (musical)— great for anyone who loves powerful vocals and/or is interested in the Cold War! Lea Michelle is starring through June 21, for any GLeeks coming to the wedding. Operation Mincemeat (musical) — one of the most impressive performances I’ve seen! Great if you love British humor, and you get to learn about a real operation that helped end WWII. Oh Mary! (Play) — Such a silly show, written by the great Cole Escola! Highly recommend if you are into ridiculous comedy and are looking to laugh. Maya Rudolph is Mary through mid-June!
We go to Pasta Louise Cafe every week for soft serve! They change flavors every week, and all are amazing (Chocolate Orange a recent favorite). Their vanilla soft serve with salted caramel drizzle is always a good backup!
Of course you will all visit Prospect Park for the wedding, but we highly recommend checking out other areas too! We love running the park loop, eating picnics on the lawn (Winner Cafe is a must), and walking by the lake.
Impossible to pick just one restaurant, so here is a list of our favorites: BK: Brooklyn DOP, Barbalu, Radio Bakery, One Charm Thai, Ha Noi, High Dive Manhattan: Ivan Ramen, Konban, Katana Kitten, L'industrie
