Stephanie is Eleni's younger sister, and Titi to little misses Isla and Penelope! They are only about a year and a half apart and have always been close. Eleni and Stephanie have experienced so many big life milestones together and are very happy to share in this celebration together!

Koumbara
In a Greek Orthodox wedding, there is a person who serves as koumbaro/a. A married couple's koumbara takes on a significant role in the ceremony and acts as a symbol of spiritual unity for them in multiple ways. These symbols include exchanging the rings on the couples' fingers, the stefana (crowns)on their heads, and holding the ribbon that connects the stefana as the husband and wife take their first steps as a married couple. Alexandra and Eleni grew up in church together and have known each other for their entire lives. They were in the same group of girl friends throughout their childhood and teen years, and their bond has only grown stronger in adulthood. They both welcomed their pandemic babies, Penelope and Amalia, just five months apart from each other!

Isla is Daniel and Eleni’s first born daughter. She may seem shy but as soon as she’s comfortable, she is a shining star and LOVES the spotlight! She is very excited to be a part of her Mommy and Daddy’s special day!
Penelope Olive Iris Turner

Penelope is Daniel and Eleni’s youngest daughter. She is a complete Daddy’s girl and a spitfire with a lot of personality bursting out of her tiny little body! She won’t remember much of her Mom and Dad’s special day but will have a blast being a flower girl with her big sis nonetheless!
