Daniel and Eleni met when Daniel came to the USA to work in 2014. Connecticut was his last stop on his tour up and down the East Coast. On their first date, they enjoyed a cup of coffee while walking around a mall. Daniel asked Eleni what she liked from Dunkin Donuts since he hadn't had it much. She suggested an iced hazelnut coffee and he hated it! Despite their differences in tastes for coffee, their connection was instant and the conversation flowed the entire time. They have been inseparable since that day!

After being apart for several months, Daniel came to the USA to visit Eleni around Thanksgiving time. The Riverwalk in Hoboken, NJ had become one of their places, as they loved to walk, talk, and take in the Manhattan skyline together. It was during an overnight trip to Hoboken that Daniel put on a kilt, got down on one knee, and proposed with the most heartfelt and romantic speech. Eleni, of course said yes!
