It’s a little bit of a drive, but if you’re looking for an all around Florida Wildlife experience, then go check this place out! There’s two main parts; a Drive-Thru Safari and the Wildlife Park/Zoo. Both are next door to each other but can be done separately. You can drive-thru the safari in your own vehicle and it ends with the opportunity to hand feed giraffes. Then next door is the zoo/park portion which includes a 30 minute airboat ride and entry into the park. Inside the park guests can purchases baggies of gator food, to throw into the gator filled pond in the middle of the park!
Disney Springs is free to the general public, with free parking, lots of shopping, fun restaurants like “Rainforest Cafe”, “STK”, “T-Rex Cafe”. There’s also a great movie theater and “Cirque du Soleil”.
City Walk is at the entrance to the Universal Theme Parks but is open to the general public and accessible without going into the theme parks. Similar to Disney Springs, it has lots of fun shopping, unique restaurants, and entertainment on the weekends.
Also known as “The Orlando Eye” on I-Drive. This area is open to general public, located near the Orlando Convention Center this area has tons of attractions, shopping, & restaurants. There are lots of rides you can pay to ride individually, like The Starflyer Swing, or one of those slingshot bungee cord rides.
This is a great spring to check out! You can drive right up to it and walk down and swim in it. Just a few miles down river is Wekiva Island where you can rent canoes and paddle back up river to this exact location if you’d like to.
This is one of the best beaches on the east coast. One of the few beaches in Florida that still allow you to drive on it!
