Travel

The Wedding Website of Elena Hansen and Kellen Andrew
We're excited to celebrate with you in Poulsbo, Washington! Most of our out-of-state guests will want to start their trip with a flight into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). From the airport, there are a couple different options to reach Poulsbo. Option 1 (Car): Drive south through Tacoma and across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge onto the Kitsap Peninsula. Along your drive, you'll have the chance to check out some gems of western Washington like Gig Harbor and Kopachuck State Park. Option 2 (Car + Ferry): If you're looking for the full PNW experience, you can hitch a ride on the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry line. Not only will this option help break up your drive, but you'll also enjoy a nice cruise across the Puget Sound. If you pursue this option, we recommend leaving plenty of time to accommodate for potential ferry delays. Tips for Washington ferry travel can be found on WSDOT's "First-time Riders" page.

Travel Note

Lodging Options

Our venue, Kiana Lodge, is located between the towns of Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. For guests that would like to stay near the location of the wedding, the closest accommodations will be hotels or rentals in/around one of these two towns. Alternatively, there are many options for lodging a bit farther from our venue in the larger cities of Seattle and Tacoma.
