Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Elena Hansen and Kellen Andrew
Welcome to western Washington! Here are some of the places we recommend checking out if you plan on spending some extra time in the area.
Olympic Peninsula

Olympic Peninsula

WA

If you’re up for an adventure, the Olympic Peninsula is just a short drive away and packed with incredible scenery — from rainforest trails to rugged beaches and mountain views. Check out Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, or the coastal towns of Port Townsend and Sequim.

Seattle

Seattle

WA

If you’re flying in early or staying a few extra days, Seattle has plenty to explore! Some of our favorite places include Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Alki Beach, Discovery Park, and the Pacific Science Center.

Poulsbo

Poulsbo

WA

Known as “Little Norway,” Poulsbo is full of Scandinavian influence. Enjoy cozy bakeries, waterfront views, and colorful shops downtown.

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island

WA

We recommend spending some time in the peaceful Bloedel Reserve or Grand Forest. You can also pay a visit to Pia the Peacekeeper while you're in town!

Hood Canal

Hood Canal

WA

Just west of Poulsbo, Hood Canal is a beautiful stretch of water framed by forested mountains.
