We've lived in the same town for 20-odd years (for the most part). Then under a full moon about three years ago, we realized we had found each other. Two Fire Dragons, never married, ready to tie the knot.

The wedding is on the full moon for July, which makes it a Wednesday Wedding. May it encourage more time for our guests to visit Tahoe/Truckee, a place we both cherish.

Our dear friends are hosting us on their property in Truckee, where Jesse, Mayumi's horse, spends his summers. It'll be a rustic yet elegant affair where high heels won't work. Come let your hair down with us ...

The painting above was a serendipitous find — what are the chances?? We reached out to the artist, Rachel SV Parry, and she loved how fitting it was. She's leasing us use of the image, for which we are thankful. Inspired by nature, humour, and humanity, Rachel is a surrealist artist from Toronto, Canada since 2012. Largely self-taught, Rachel has only shown in galleries in the city of Toronto and online, but has shipped artwork to collectors in several different countries in the world.
