Cliff Notes Edition: Coffee & Love 😋

For those that just want to know the short and sweet version of how Charlie & Elea met...

They met by chance at a coffee shop—bonding over tattoos and a shared love of caffeine. Months later, a New Year’s Day hike turned into hours of laughter, deep conversation, and the realization that something special had begun. From cozy mornings and Asheville adventures to late-night talks and endless laughter, they’ve built a love rooted in openness, intention, and teamwork. He planned the perfect proposal disguised as a “leaf-hunting” trip, complete with a hidden photographer and a beautiful vineyard backdrop—and she, of course, said yes. Now, they’re excited to celebrate their love story with a joyful, relaxed, picnic-style wedding surrounded by family, friends, and all the people who make their story even sweeter.

Feature Film Edition: Coffee, Laughter & Forever đŸ©·

From coffee shop strangers to adventure partners for life — join us as we celebrate Eleanor & Charlie's love, laughter, and happily ever after.

Their love story didn’t begin with an algorithm or a lucky swipe, theirs started the old-fashioned way—at a coffee shop. What began as a casual comment about tattoos turned into a chance encounter at the creamer bar, and somehow, that small moment sparked something much bigger. Months passed before their first date. On New Year’s Day, they met for a hike that was supposed to be casual—but it quickly became clear there was something special between them. They talked the entire time, laughed easily, and left knowing this connection was different. From there, their story unfolded naturally. They spent time exploring Asheville together—wandering through bookstores, holding hands on the LaZoom bus, drinking tea while snow fell, and sharing quiet moments at the sauna house where she rested her head on his shoulder for the first time. Every date felt like an adventure, every conversation like a deeper discovery of the person standing beside them. Their relationship has always been grounded in openness, consistency, and laughter. They’ve learned to communicate honestly, to be vulnerable, and to support each other through both distance and daily life. He taught her how to feel safe being fully herself; she taught him to smile more and to let his softer side show. Together, they’ve built something steady, genuine, and deeply loving. Some of their favorite memories aren’t grand gestures, but the simple ones—slow mornings wrapped in blankets, long talks over coffee, trying new restaurants, and about building their dream home one day. Whether exploring new places or just spending a quiet evening together, they’ve found joy in every shared moment. The proposal was perfectly them—sweet, intentional, and a little bit funny. He told her they were going “leaf hunting” and needed pictures “for their wedding website”
even though he hadn’t proposed yet. What she didn’t know was that he had a full plan in motion: a vineyard, a sip-and-stroll, and a hidden photographer waiting to capture the moment. When he got down on one knee, she was worried about whether they’d get the photos—but yes, they did. And of course, she said yes. For them, marriage is about being a team. It’s showing up for each other in every season, lifting each other up when life gets hard, and celebrating when it’s good. It’s choosing to grow together, love wholeheartedly, and embrace every adventure—big or small. What makes their love story unique is how intentionally it unfolded. They didn’t rush. They met by chance, took their time before their first date, and spent those early months truly getting to know one another. They learned the contours of each other’s personalities, really seeing the other, noticing the things that made the other who they are, explored their Love Languages, and even used other tools like the Enneagram to gain a deeper understanding of each other. They built a foundation of friendship and communication first, and everything else grew naturally from there. As they look forward to their wedding day, they envision something joyful, relaxed, and filled with love—a casual picnic-style celebration surrounded by their favorite people. No stress, no show—just genuine connection, laughter, and a reflection of who they are as a couple. From that first encounter at the coffee-shop to countless shared adventures, their story is one of timing, intention, and love that feels both grounded and extraordinary. They’re grateful every day to have found each other—two adventure partners, ready for a lifetime of laughter, learning, and love.
