Things To Do

There is so much to do and see in AK in the summer time! We live in Anchorage, and now the wedding will be here as well! If you have the time, we encourage you to plan on adventuring both north and south of Anchorage during your trip. In this list are town names and some recommended activities. If you want excess beta on planning your trip, click around on the map and read the descriptions under each town - there is lots of information here. Here is a great resource for finding hikes in Anchorage area: https://alaskahikesearch.com/hikes/ Some classic hikes in Anchorage are Flat Top, the Bluff Trail (Kincaid Park), and Rabbit Lake. Popular towns South of Anchorage are Girdwood (1 hr), Seward (2 hours) and one of our favorites - Homer (4 hrs)! North of Anchorage is Talkeetna (2.5 hrs), a charming town at the base of Denali. *We can't emphasize enough that tourist season in Alaska is summer time. Book ahead! Please reach out if you want help trip planning.
