Flight
Frankfurt (FRA), Cologne (CGN), Düsseldorf (DUS), or Dortmund (DTM) are the closest airports for friends coming from abroad, with Frankfurt being Germany's largest transportation hub offering connections worldwide. For friends coming from Peru or the US, we also recommend checking flights to Düsseldorf, as they can sometimes be cheaper than Frankfurt while offering similar driving time to the venue. Cologne and Dortmund are smaller airport that rather serve european destinations. All airports are approximately 1-1.5 hours driving distance from the venue location.
Travel Note
The city of Hilchenbach offers more rental apartments and houses than hotels. We recommend checking Airbnb or Booking.com to explore additional accommodation options. When searching, look for either Hilchenbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, or Kirchhundem, North Rhine-Westphalia. Please let us know if you need any assistance finding accommodations. We recommend selecting the breakfast option when booking, as we’ve reserved a private dining room for a shared breakfast with our guests at 11:00 AM on Sunday, May 25th (the morning after the wedding).
