What will the weather be like in September?

Answer

Hard tellin' not knowin'. Plan for being a little chilly - and expect that you could experience sunshine, rain, wind, and maybe even snow - all in one day! Our fingers are crossed for sunshine and iconic VT foliage!

Will the ceremony be outside if it's raining (or snowing)?

Answer

We have elected to have the ceremony in the Barn at Jay Peak to avoid any risks with the great outdoors. While we can't tell the future, we do know the weather at Jay Peak is commonly erratic and somewhat unpredictable. We encourage you to monitor the weather!

Are children invited?

Answer

We want you to use our wedding as an opportunity to explore the mountains as a family! While we would love children to be a part of your weekend, we are asking that they do not attend the ceremony or the reception. To make this possible, we will have an on-site babysitter in a nearby condo that will be able to provide childcare during the event(s). Food and fun will be provided! If this is something you're interested in, please let Ange or Raymond know. We would need a headcount by July 1 to ensure that we have the adequate number of babysitters available.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please make sure to indicate on your RSVP other dietary restrictions and we will make sure you are taken care of! We will be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour! Dinner will be served buffet style and there will be vegetarian options. Dessert will also be provided. Make sure you come hungry!

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable as yourself but we do ask that you stick to cocktail attire. Whatever you do, make sure to check the weather before you pack!

Is there a group reservation code for lodging?

Answer

Yes! It is on your invitation! If you can't find your invitation, text Ange or Ray and we would be happy to give it to you again!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to invite everyone as we love a big party...however, we have a max capacity at Jay Peak that we need to adhere to. Please refer to the guests listed on your invitation for your RSVP. If you have questions or concerns about someone missed, please reach out!

Are there any important details about the ceremony that we need to know about?

Answer

We are kindly requesting a device-free ceremony. Please make sure that your phones are turned to silent and tucked away. We have a wonderful photographer and videographer who are both ready to capture all of our most special moments. Pick a seat, not a side! There will be no "groom side" or "bride side" seating at the ceremony. Please find a spot you feel comfortable in!
