How long is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be 45 minutes - 1 hour long.

Can we take pictures/video at the ceremony?

Answer

The FIve Mile Chapel is a very small chapel. We would very much appreciate saving cell phone pictures and video for after the ceremony and/or at the reception. As always, please remember to silence your cell phones before the ceremony begins.

Are there bathrooms at the chapel?

Answer

There are NO bathrooms at the Five Mile Chapel! There will be a port-a-potty onsite. If you would like to avoid using the temporary facilities, the Carnegie is only a ten minute drive away. We would highly recommend stopping by the Carnegie and using the restrooms there.

Is there parking at the Five Mile Chapel?

Answer

Parking is limited at the chapel. We would highly recommend stopping by the Carnegie (and using the bathroom) and carpooling to the chapel.

Question

Can we park at that cute, green, colonial-style house next to the chapel?

Answer

NO! This is not a part of the chapel property (I, Elaine, may or may not have learned that the “hard” way). As you drive in, turn right, drop off your passengers at the front of the chapel, and please head into the grassy field.
