Cataloochee Ranch
The ranch is a beautiful place to walk around and explore, with several hiking trails to enjoy. Fishing equipment is available for guests to use, and there’s also a hot tub. Guests can also enjoy games such as ping pong, cornhole, and a pool table. For those looking for more adventure, the ranch offers several optional paid activities that can be arranged in advance, such as horseback riding, UTV tours, and an adventure course. These activities must be scheduled and paid for by the guest prior to arrival.
Soco Falls
This waterfall is about 15 minutes away from the ranch. It is about 1 mile hike total there and back.
Mingo Falls
This waterfall is located on the Eastern Cherokee Reservation, about a 45-minute drive from the ranch. It’s free to visit and requires a climb of approximately 160 stairs to reach the viewing area.
Biltmore
Historic mansion located about 45 minutes from the ranch. Tickets must be booked in advance, and the tour lasts approximately three hours.
