Coffee
There's a coffee shop around every corner in Seattle but this one is our favorite! It's extra cool because it doubles as a gathering space for local radio station KEXP. You can grab a coffee, find a cozy seat, listen to some good music, and watch the DJs in the radio booth in real time. Great place to pop into if you are visiting Seattle Center.
Lots of options...
Coming to Seattle and not stopping at a brewery or taproom would be a damn shame. Most breweries that don't have food on site either allow you to bring takeout or have food trucks so check their websites to see what trucks are visiting. Here are some of our favs! Taprooms: Chuck's Hop Shop--LOTS of local beers; a location in Greenwood but our preferred spot is in Central District Growler Guys--Similar vibe to Chuck's but it's a 1 minute walk from our house. Text us if you come here. Breweries: Ravenna Brewing (Ravenna) Standard Brewing (Central District) Fremont Brewing (Fremont) Ghostfish Brewing (SODO, gluten free!) Optimism Brewing (Capitol Hill) Holy Mountain Brewing (Interbay/Queen Anne) Reuben's Brews (Ballard) Peddler Brewing (Ballard)
