Popular beach park along the Sound with amazing views of the Olympics! A favorite spot of our for sunset dinners.
Hiking trails through the woods and quiet beaches with Olympic views
A famous little park in the Queen Anne neighborhood, up the hill from Seattle Center, with a classic view of the Seattle skyline, the Space Needle, and Mount Rainier. If you're planning on seeing the Space Needle up close, don't let us stop you! But our favorite way to appreciate the Space Needle is to head to Molly Moons (a Seattle staple for ice cream with several locations) in Queen Anne and walk to Kerry park for sunset views of the city.
Ballard is an awesome neighborhood! There is a cute walkable section with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. There are some awesome live music venues in Ballard like The Sunset Tavern and Tractor Tavern. There is also a strip of several breweries (near Reuben's Brews) all within walking distance of each other. There's a great Sandwich spot called Mean Sandwiches in that area as well.
Probably one of the busier Neighborhoods in Seattle, Capital Hill is known for lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and the rainbow crosswalks. There are lots of live music venues, with our favorites being Neumos and Chop Suey (Will played there once!). But you could seriously just wander up and down Pike and Pine and find something cool.
A classic spot to visit! Pike Place Market is like a farmer's market meets artisan fair meets hole in the wall coffee and little spots to grab a bite to eat. It is busy here on the weekends but can be calmer during the week. There's so much to see here, with the obvious draws being the original Starbucks location and the famous Seattle fish thrower guys.
